Grammarly Premium can help improve your writing's spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and style. Grammarly review and improve your texts at lightning speed. It does that by correcting grammar, spelling, word choice, and style mistakes with extreme accuracy. You can upload draft writing assignments to receive immediate instructional feedback on over 250+ points of grammar, punctuation and styles. 
  1. Registration Steps
Grammarly Premium is available for use by all current Nagaland University faculty, scholars and students.
 
Self-Registration for official email ID’s
  • Step 1: Go to https://www.grammarly.com/enterprise/signup  (Mandatory to sign up from this URL)
  • Step 2: Fill up the self-registration form (using @nagalanduniversity.ac.in) and click Agree & Sign up. Note: Do not Sign up with Google / Facebook / Apple account
  • Step 3: After clicking Sign up, a verification email will be send to the user's institutional email ID.
  • Please Note: Your @ac.in credential activation has been activated. Users may sometimes get the verification mail in the Spam/Junk/Promotion folder.
  • Step 4: Kindly verify the activation mail from Grammarly. 
  • Once registered, users will land on the 'Grammarly Editor, ' which is easy to use and explore.
 
Registration for PhD scholars/Students
  • Non-domain users like yahoo, Gmail, Rediffmail, etc., will be invited from the library/admin panel.
  • Scholars who wish to avail Grammarly service can send their request to their respective Department HODs/ In-Charge
  • It is requested for the concerned HOD/In-charge to send the following details (Download Template) to Central Library, Lumami, (asst.librarian@nagalanduniversity.ac.in) by email.
  • The departments are also requested to send the same hardcopy (Sealed/Signed) to Central library, Lumami for documentation
  • Registration requests for Scholars and Students received from the department will be activated in the next 24 hours.
  • In the next 24 hours, the scholars/students email will receive an ‘Invite’ mail from Grammarly (also check spam/junk folder).
  • Students are requested to complete the self-registration steps by clicking on the Invite link.
 
  1. How to Use Grammarly?
  • Click on Login, enter E-mail ID and Password, and then you will land on the Grammarly Home Page.
  • You can create a New document or Upload an existing document (.doc .docx .odt .htm .rtf & txt) to edit the texts.
  • Select the language preferences from the setting: https://account.grammarly.com/customize Accounts
  • Activate the Plagiarism feature locating on the bottom right to detect similar writing sources  
  • The MS Word Plugin can be downloaded from the support page after registration from the link https://www.grammarly.com/office-addin/windows, the same user ID and Password credentials will grant access to use the Plugin for users.
